Pensioner and senior residents travel for free
If you carry a pensioner or senior citizen concessions card and live on Scotland Island or the Western Foreshores, then you are also eligible for an all-day trip ticket for free.
Offshore residents will be able to take advantage of the Gold Opal program. “From 1 January [2016] eligible offshore residents will simply have to present their Gold Opal Card and Private Ferry Pass when boarding.” Read more on your MP’s website.
How to pay
Pay your driver on board. You can use your card to pay. EFTPOS is available on the ferry. We also accept cash and cheques.
About the Green Ticket
Why the extra dollar? To reduce our footprint we invest your extra $1.00 into certified carbon credits (see our credits on the registry). Carbon credits offset the ferries’ fuel emissions through initiatives such as forest conservation and renewable energy.
